I have bought (2) 1200lb Harbor Freight winches over the years($289 each). I have use them on my 20' open car trailer, but they only last about 2 years, before I have to replace them. I've had this 13,000lb unit for 2 months and it works fantastic with no heavy load slow down. It comes with a wired and wireless remote too. Both work as advertised. I mounted the winch on a Harbor Freight universal mounting plate with carry handles($45). The holes matched up perfectly. The only annoying thing is the Vevor unit uses nuts that slide ingrooves in the bottom of the unit(think ATV style battery terminals). The Harbor Freight winches for comparison are pre threaded, so you just turn the winch over and screw the bolts directly into the unit. These are a pain since you have to take a screw driver and line the nuts up with the holes, and don't breath when your screwing the bolts into the nuts that are delicately perched in there slots, or they will shift, and out comes the screw driver again to line them up. Other than that, a great unit at a competitive price.
