Great kit to help avoid accidents
This was ordered to help prevent accidents with multiple people working together. It's a lot packed into one small bag, which helps keep everything in one spot and ready to go when it all breaks loose. First pass? The tags, complete with zip ties. They're plastic, sturdy, with metal grommets which make them especially sturdy for repeated use. There are three locks - all with unique keys - with smooth turning mechanisms that work well on... Three lock out pieces. Two are metal, one plastic, which allows a variety of sizes to lock out various pieces of equipment, without another person being able to remove it and use it anyway. Great kit for the price!

What a great Lockout tag out kit.
My husband and I own our own business. I got the 26 piece Electrical Lockout Tagout Kit for the business. Wow is this kit perfect. The bag is very handy, durable fabric, good stitching, and a nice zipper. The bag a has a handle which makes it easy to hang on the wall in the office. The bag is a bright red which really makes it easy to see. The 3 padlocks are well built and I love how they all have an extra key. I appreciate the 2 steel hasps and 1 insulated hasp and that the tags are bright colored and reusable. This is the perfect kit for my small business. I'm so glad it is up to OSHA standards. This kit will make things so safe when any of our machines are being surfaced. I can not find any flaws in this kit. I'm happy to have it!!!!

Great set for the price
Kinda wish the locks popped open when unlocked. I'm an R&D engineer and these are great for our small lab of only 4 people.

Good quality set
The description of the product is accurate. Seems to be well-made. I’d recommend this kit.

decent basic kit…
All the components of this lockout/tagout kit are pretty standard designs and appear to be of durable, serviceable construction. The padlocks have 1.5” hasps for a little extra reach. The padlock keys are a laser-cut “sidewinder” style with which I don’t have experience — fancy security features may be overkill for a cuttable lock, but may be a good thing. The 1” and 1.5” steel scissor hasps and the 1” x 2.5” nylon sliding hasp provide some flexibility in lockout connection. The durable tags are of a stiff 0.015” HDPE or similar plastic with a matte surface for non-smear Sharpie or pencil marking and erasing. The lined, double-layer bag is well constructed with a carry handle, velcro straps for securing to equipment or vehicle, room for all contents plus extras, and a covered window pockets for ID card and a visible key. This kit does not include lockable covers for switches, breakers, and plugs without locking points, but it provides a good starting point to cover a lot of safety lockout needs. The locks retain the key when open — but there are no springs in the lock, so they might close inadvertently and drop the key. The locks are not marked to match the key number, so figure out how you will keep them paired. The ID card and key slots on the storage bag make it seem like a personal kit with the ability to secure several hazard points of a complex situation. As an individual person who might need to use several locks I would prefer to only manage a single key, but I know that OSHA won’t let an employer provide keyed-alike locks for a lockout program. At any rate, I guess this kit could be compliant. The kit could also be an adequate basis for a small crew to lockout a single control point. My needs are pretty simple, so this kit will work for me with the addition of a few switch/plug devices to control points without built-in locking hasps.

Includes all essential items to lock and tag
The kit provides all of the items necessary for LOTO to safely work on equipment in an industrial environment. The padlocks with hasps allow multiple people to work on one piece of equipment. The tags are made from thick stock paper with reinforcing eyelets to make sure they remain in place. The locks include space for the maintenance worker to write their name. All items are well marked and highly visible.

When your life is on the line ...
TLDR: Pros: Complete kit, convenient, supports 3 people Cons: lock/key ambiguity This is a lock-out tag-out (LOTO) kit that contains 3 locks, each with a unique set of 2 keys, 3 clasps (two metal clasps of different sizes and one plastic), 20 LOTO tags, white cable ties, case and instructions. The case has a generous volume and easily fits all the contents. The case has Velcro straps on the back that make it easy to attach to a rail or bar. It also has a loop and could be hung from a hook or clipped onto something using a carabineer. The case has a clear plastic slot for an ID tag. There is also a small compartment labelled \"key\" but the set comes with 6 keys and I doubt that more than 2 could fit in at a time. Everything looks and feels reasonably sturdy and well made. The locks aren't designed to prevent bad actors from, for example, breaking into a locked shed. That is, they aren't replacements for standard pad-locks. The assumption is that the people that you are working with will respect your lock and not try to force it off, especially if you make it very inconvenient for them to do so. The locks have a plastic body with a solid metal hook and metal key mechanism. If someone wanted to bust them open they could do it with a little determination and strength; but if they did, they'd probably go after the clasps which would be easier to force open. Bottom line: don't buy the kit as a cheap way to get padlocks. The 20 tags are thicker than paper and much stronger. They could be used many times--but they aren't so nice that you'd feel bad throwing one away if you wrote on it. Each lock has a unique set of two keys so 3 different people can use the set at the same time. My only complaint is that all the keys and all the locks look alike so it isn't readily apparent which key set goes with which lock. When you open the kit for the first time each lock is in a box with it's own keys. I keep the keys in the locks when they are in the bag to make them easier to match

Good Electrical kit
To be honest I'm not an Electrician I'm not even sure what half this stuff is for. I just wanted it for the bag, the zip ties, and the locks. I thought it wasn't a bad deal for 20 dollars. We have 3 gates and a shed we needed locks for and we needed zip ties for our signs No Trespassing, Beware of dogs, No solicitation, Video surveillance, Keep the gates closed, etc.
