I bought this for camp so we didn't need to "redneck" it anymore with bricks & a grill! It was plenty sturdy, although a little thinner than I expected. I did learn that it takes much longer to cook foul packets on than setting them on the coals. I've only cooked steak on a grill over a fire so it'll take me Time to learn but it held up well so as long as I keep it out of the weather, I think it will last a few years.
Easy to open & place over the fire & left it till the next day so over the fire overnight. We rough it, to a certain extent, camping in the woods but use a camp stove and sometimes a grill but we can use this instead of bringing a grill, if we want.
