Fantastic entry level seeder
I just have to live when a plan all comes together. This is one of those devices that I just pulled it out of the box and (with minimal assembly) worked flawlessly. I used this seeder to plant my garden, which is (6) 4’x40’ rows. I was able to seed everything so fast. Fairly easy to use. Love this entry-level seeder.

Works great!
My neighbor and I used it to plant peas. Worked great. Chain needs to be a little heavier because it did not cover all the peas up. Would buy again.

Best garden tool I have purchased in a long time
Absolutely love it! I have a very large ranch garden with twenty five 100 foot long rows (corn, beans, peas, etc). We used to plant seed the old fashion way with a shovel. Ugh! This is a game changer! Likity split it furrows and drops the right amount of seed at the right spacing and depth you set up for your seed, and buries it - all in one motion. It also has a swing out arm to mark where the next row is. It has different insert wheels for different kinds of seeds. This has made planting not only a breeze, but downright fun! Best garden tool I have purchased in a long time! Love it!

So nice for planting a bigger garden space.
We had an old one of these several years ago, I'm sure from a different maker, and I decided it was time to look for a new one. I put it together easily and just had to use pliers to tighten a few bolts. It has several seed discs. You put in the disc, and put the seeds in the seed compartment. As the disc turns, it grabs a new seed, carries it around and drops it in the ground, in the trench that is made by the plow - and then covers it up. Seriously, so convenient when you have a big garden. We mainly used it for corn, beans and peas. It really saves so much time on your hands and knees, placing and covering seeds. We've only used it one year, but so far so good. We hope to be using it for years to come. Our seeds have just popped up this year - I'm so excited for this year's garden!

No more planting on hands and knees
Used this one growing season on a 5000 square foot garden planted with rotational cropping method. Getting older, i wanted to plant my garden without severe back pain and do it in less than a week. As long as i plant on level ground and not raised rows, this little tool does the trick! Larger seeds consistently click through the machine evenly spaced. Corn, beans and the like. Smaller seeds are a little less consistent. But without this machine, the garden would not have gotten planted quickly. And certainly not as easily. This thing saved my back. I used to ache for days after planting the garden. Now this tool lets me still do the gardening i love, without taxing my body. No more bending or getting on my knees to get seeds in the ground. Rotating crops, i plant twice or 3 times a year. Lots of planting. Lots of fun again. Great little invention!

Works Great, easy to use.
I had doubts about this thing. I saw Videos of it working and it looked easy. Ordered and it came in quickly. Put it together and off I go to the garden area to see how it going to work. ( I had already tilled , bedded rows and flatten the top of rows with my loader bucket) . It work perfectly . My row are 100’ long . In no time a had corn, peas, beans , water melons, and cantaloupe.

This works exactly as advertised
I had one of these years ago and planted about an acre of sweet corn every year along with a couple hundred feet of bush beens. It works best with the larger seeds. I gave my old Earthway planter to a nephew when I moved south. I just bought a new unit and it works just as good as my old one.

went together easily. Tried it with peas
Very handy little gadget! went together easily. Tried it with peas, soybeans and sunflower seeds. Two plots were plowed well and the dirt was soft and it worked great. One small area had been plowed a month earlier and the ground was harder but the seeder still worked great. Was a little harder to plow through but we just adjusted the small plow down and it bit through the dirt and the seeds dropped out like they should. Amazing how much less seed we used with this compared to just broadcasting and the seed rows are up and growing like crazy. Found you do have to hold it straight and flat as you walk but that's easy enough. It could use a lock washer to hold the front wheel on better as I lost the nut after about 8 long rows. Maybe I didn't have it on right/ tight. Anyway This will make planting the food plots faster, easier and more productive with less seed waste.

Well made product. A few tweaks needed
Very well made with aluminum. Could use a bigger drag chain for filling in rows. Also must to have soil dry and really worked up good makes good rows. Also going to make the handle taller wish this was adjustable for bigger people too. Works best if you fill the seed hopper to the halfway point. All in all great product.

Seeding made easy
If I would of known how easy this made seeding evenly spaced and straight rows I would have planted a bigger garden. Every seed was placed well and is growing. Very little thinning out is needed. I spent a fraction of the time seeding this garden as last year's and it looks better.
