Saw and ordered this to have on-hand for any potential emergency situations where leaking gas could be an issue. Have not yet used, but glad to have it available 'just in case'. Seems well-designed, highly functional, user-easy, and cost-effective.

This is very sensitive, sometimes it will read when the gas has been cleared for 10 minutes. I have to be careful where i zero it out at.

We needed help to detect a propane leak. This meter was just the thing for the job. I'm disabled and have no sense of smell. We noticed our propane usage increasing and our supplier did nothing to remedy. Turns out the regulator on their tank was leaking as well as the whole house regulator that they'd fitted to our home. Needless to say we've changed propane suppliers as we didn't want to pay for propane we weren't using. This little meter just saved us a ton of money in the long run. I've also used it to check our high efficiency furnace and water heater for gas leaks. Great device, easy to use. Highly recommend!

Used it for a gas leak coming from water heater. Ended up replacing the hose for the line. no more leaks.

very inexpensive sniffer. Auto callibration is a real plus.
