I am using this in an enclosed garden. I am tired of pulling weeds all the time, plus, I am allergic. I thought the 8 oz would be the most successful in blocking them. I overlapped the fabric about 12 inches, but as I placed the pots on it, some spots shifted a little. I'd suggest overlapping more than that to allow for shifting if you are placing items on top of it. There's a chipmunk digging in a few of the pots, maybe looking for acorns it stashed in the winter. It splashed dirt all over (little brat). I took a hose and sprayed the fabric clean. It cleans very well. The grass and weeds underneath are yellowing so I think the fabric is so far preventing growth. And, yes, that's a chicken coop. It's the only thing I can think of to keep deer out. As far as the fabric, I got the 4x100 roll so I have a good amount left to under stone I around the house. It will be a job to push the stone, lay down the fabric, and push the stone back, but this thick fabric will make it worthwhile. I hope this review helps.

Vevor's 6x100ft 8oz geotextile worked great for the foundation drain system I put in. It's far more durable than the drain fabric I saw at Home Depot.

Very good material for french drain systems. Easy to use. Bought it twice. It should hold up underground.

I recently purchased several rolls of VEVOR 10 x 100ft, 6 x 100ft and 4 x 100ft heavy duty non-woven geotextile fabric for use around my house as I have approximately an acre in the country with minimal grass, but numerous weeds of all types. Having spread contractors grade mulch a few times over the years, I decided to install the fabric as a base layer prior to my most recent mulch top layer. Cost of the product was reasonably, and I found the delivery to be excellent. After opening the boxes, I found the fabric to be adaptable for my needs, though you need a sharp knife with a stronger blade to cut it. Not unexpected given the 8oz weight. This fabric resists tearing as advertised. I wasn’t worried about the ability of water to be able to penetrate for the benefit of my trees and other shrubs as the fabric does allow for some water to seep through, but more importantly I cut circles at the plants weep line to allow for additional watering. Time will tell if this product reduces the number of weeds in my yard overtime, but based on the quality of the fabric my expectations are high. I plan on purchasing more of this fabric to cover additional areas in the future.

I made a 12 ft. X 100 ft drive way. I'm doing a 18ft. X 100 ft. Drive way. I rented a Kabota tractor from Home Depot. And had 3 dump truck loads of C-R 58 Road Base smoothed it out. Ran over it a few times. Came out professionally and almost like concrete, wet the base. Make sure to pin the Vevor Driveway 8mil.weed block best product for $.
