Great setup for the money
This makes for great first timer’s sluice kit. The carpet and mesh provided are OK. You could possibly swap these out if you’d like in the future. This is small enough that it fits in my backpack when I hike in and do prospecting. You can’t really beat the price for what you get.

Used it in the River
We used this small sluice box in the river for some casual gold panning. It worked really well and we had so much fun panning. No gold, but not the fault of the box. We just didn't get the right spot yet.
