It works well. I had to take the side guide rods out completely and put the back in so that they faced the correct way and had to work the yellow trigger that adjusts the automatic staple guides. After that, it operates smoothly.

The machine was carefully packed and arrived in perfect condition. It’s very heavy. After unpacking I turned it on and voila, I made a soft cover book! Then another!I can’t lie, I watched a lot of videos before I got it. The instructions are poorly translated, but there are plenty of YouTubes that help. I recommend this hot glue binder highly.

The instruction manual was very difficult to understand; however with perseverance and practice, everything is actually pretty good--am very impressed with the results. The only problem, as stated, was getting to that point. Constant adjustments, figuring out how much glue to use/not use was difficult. Have now learned to move the "glue arm?" real fast and the correct amount of glue comes out!

I was a little spectacle since other comparable machines cost a lot higher The manual for the binder is not very good. In fact the manual is awful. But after watching a few videos on-line it made the process very easy to assemble the machine and make a book. It does take some practice though and happy with the end result.
