I am not a hunter but have found this set up to be the nuts. Bought it to winch my 100 lb 20 HP outboard from its wheeled stand into the bed of my Silverado and back out again. Works great. Couldn't have been better. because this model has the adjustable leg that goes to the ground it is rock solid when lifting. Did it solo and I'm 73 and really pay the price if i lift something like an outboard so this thing was a lifesaver. Recommend it. Great invention. Look for an open box deal. Probably works with deer too!

I bought this lift not to use it to pick up a deer I actually use it to pick up the front of a zero turn so I could sharpen the blades it works really great have nothing but good things to say about it

Son in law loved it. He used it while hunting and it was much easier for him when hunting by himself.

Works great

Good quality skinning rack, had 1 issue while field dressing 2 whitetails this season.. Once the cranking handle is free without a load it will spin making the cable loose.I finally used a bungee cord to keep the handle from spinning.One suggestion that I could make would be to replace some of the bolts with safety pins with the spring wire lock. Easy on easy off, no nuts to lose in the grass.

This hoist is great and sturdy. It lifts up easy a deer and will safe your back! I would highly recommend this!
