I bought this for our two Boer goats. It’s sturdy enough to hold them when they rest their front hooves on the grain tray to eat the hay from the top and prevents our ducks from getting into their hay.

Very happy with this hay feeder. First, it was very easy to put together; took about 20 minutes on my own. Second, it has wheels which made it super easy to move. The feeder is strong and my sheep immediately used it without a problem. Also, the edges are not sharp like some others I’ve purchased. The only negative is I had to drill some drainage holes in the pan, but that was easy.

Works well so far for my goats. A little light duty but fine for our doe pen. Packaging for beaten up pretty bad in shipment, was missing the hardware when it was delivered but it was found in the shipper's warehouse.

I have searched for a good hay feeder for a long time at our local feed supply stores and hadn't come across one designed as well as this one! I was so thrilled when it arrived early and my husband commented on the sturdy design and materials! It's metal coating is rust resistant and the adjustable height is fantastic! I have a 7 year old pet goat is only supposed to eat Timothy Grass- its 22 dollars a bale and the tray underneath the dispensing feeder is great for reducing waste!!!! He won't eat the grass that falls to the ground so the design is perfect.I was actually the one to assemble the feeder when it arrived and it was logical and easy.Thank you for a great product!
