The manufacturer should have included a nut driver that actually fits the locking nuts. Also a l shaped Phillips head wold have bee nice and made tightening the hub easier.

I bought one of the same again as the first one was much better design than previous hose reels I have used. The assembly is fairly easy to follow with directions and didn't take much effort making it well worthwhile.

This VEVOR hose reel unit works great! Would highly recommend this to anyone looking to ease the burden of having to handle 200’ of hose almost daily. The mobility also makes storage a breeze. Super easy to assemble. A number 10 wrench (10mm) and a large tip (PH2) 1/4” x 6” Phillips head screw driver was all the tools I needed. My tip: The assembly instructions included are perfect, but as an elder female I found it easier to assemble in an order better suited to a seated position and it worked out great for me. This is how I assembled it. I began on step 3 (wheels), then step 5 (frame 2 into tube 1), then step 1 (handle/R-pin), then step 2 (reel to frame 2), then step 4 (handle into frame 1), and lastly hookup. I’m using a 6’ lead in hose and two 100’ (connected) 5/8” standard garden hoses with brass fittings. No leaks. Very pleased!

Initially, a returned, used item was delivered in a broken up box. I contacted Amazon and requested a replacement, and then, a refund. The seller offered to send a new item without the requirement to return the damaged item. The second delivery was in a new box, with all the parts in perfect condition. It was easy to assemble, and is very well made. I am very happy with the purchase, especially the customer service - hence the 5 stars. I think it will last years longer than a similarly priced plastic hose reel.

Still new but no leaks and seems like a good coating on it for anti rust. Note does not come with connection hose to spigot save old one or will need new one

Very sturdy reels smoothly only problem one of the wheels was missing the axel bearing E-nailed support they needed an order # long story short I went to Tractor Supply and boughy a set of wheels

It's good quality just a little hard to control when rolling up hose. The connection part seems to move too much during hose take up. Hard to connect hose inside the roller need small hands or should have a connection outside of the roller.

Very sturdy. I added an angle adapter to the interior of the reel and that helped keep the hose from kinking at full extension.
