Price and quality
Still new but no leaks and seems like a good coating on it for anti rust. Note does not come with connection hose to spigot save old one or will need new one

Hose reel
It's good quality just a little hard to control when rolling up hose. The connection part seems to move too much during hose take up. Hard to connect hose inside the roller need small hands or should have a connection outside of the roller.

Could use an an angle adapter, but over all very sturdy.
Very sturdy. I added an angle adapter to the interior of the reel and that helped keep the hose from kinking at full extension.

Looks Way Better than those plastic Hose Reels
Item went together with no issues, all the parts were included, the construction and materials were really solid. Wish the instructions were better illustrated and better written, can see how some folks might have trouble putting this together. Wish the round pieces that hold the hose in place were larger. Wish it had some rubber feet on the bottom of the steel tubing. Very happy with the design, materials, construction, even the packaging was well done and very compact. I will cut a couple of pieces of old hose to wrap the tubing where it touches the ground to keep the tubing from getting scratched up. It's fairly narrow so don't pull it sideways. Nice wheels too. Very happy

Great hose reel cart... A little difficult to assemble.
This is a very well made, all steel hose reel cart with a great powder coat finish. The fittings for attaching the hose are obviously well machined and show no signs of leaking. Overall, I am pleased with this reel, but there are a few things that cost a star in my rating. 1) Assembly: While it does not take a rocket scientist, there is a slightly elevated degree of difficulty in assembly. It is difficult to get a ratchet onto the nuts when assembling the reel itself as the spacing is very tight. An extra hand would be a great help for the final assembly step as you are required to hold three different somewhat heavy pieces together in perfect alignment in order to insert the screws. My particular unit was missing a couple of washers and nuts from the hardware pack, but fortunately, I keep a stash of miscellaneous hardware in my shop for just such situations. 2) Ease of use: There are two issues here in my opinion. First of all, the crank handle design could be better. It features a rigid handle with a loosely fitting rubber grip that is supposed to turn freely while winding the reel. There is nothing to keep this grip from constantly sliding off the end which adds a certain amount of frustration when trying to roll up 100+ feet of hose. Secondly, when fully loaded with hose, the center of gravity is pretty far forward which makes it somewhat difficult to maneuver it around on the rear wheels. 3) Does not include a leader hose for attaching to the water supply. I purchased one from another supplier which added about $9 to the total cost. If it was included with the reel, this would move from a good value for the money to a great value for the money. One additional comment that I did not deduct points for but feel the need to point out is that the stated hose capacity of 175' of 5/8 hose appears a little exaggerated. Maybe with the cheapest, thinnest wall hose out there one might be able to cram 175' on the reel, but I have a medium to heavy duty 100' hose and it pretty much maxed out the capacity. None of these items should be considered a deal breaker. I am well pleased with the purchase, and I highly recommend this to anyone in need of a high quality and durable hose reel. I expect to get years of use out of this.

Great value
Assembly takes a little time, but the result is so much nicer than the cheap plastic hose reels!

worth it
purchased for standard hose because other hose reels are ridiculous expensive and this one was cost effective. purchased a 3 ft hose to connect to water source and rolled on my garden hose. works perfectly. easy to assemble and feels solid. it’ll be in the sun partially so no concerns with fading like the plastic ones.

Better than any plastic alternative
Chances are, if you have a plastic hose reel, unless the entire water connection assembly is made of steel, it will crack at some point and start to leak. Especially if you keep it outdoors all year long, which, let's be honest, of course you do. The sun's UV rays alone will age the plastic and it will crack. This hose reel is made of stainless steel. That's really all you need to know. It does exactly what it looks like it does. The hose connection is tight and doesn't leak with a proper o-ring, the welds are quite decent, and the only plastic pieces are the wheels. The wheels are fine, but don't expect to win a street race with this thing, they're just held in place loosely with a washer and a cotter pin, and they will wobble a bit. Will it rust? Maybe. Sometimes cheap stainless will rust after a while. But for an item like this I don't really care. Adds character. Plus, you could always just spray it with some rust preventative if that ever becomes an issue. Assembly is fine if you've ever used a wrench. I wouldn't want to tackle it without a 10mm socket wrench or nut driver. A plumber's adjustable wrench won't cut it here, trust me.
