Fixed my problem
My 2 post lift was unable to lift anything more than a very small car. I replaced the power unit with thisone and it now works great.

Fantastic replacement/upgrade for my cheap lift
I bought a cheap, unbranded 4-post lift on the used marketplace. A month after installing it in my garage, the power unit started blowing run capacitors. My amateur diagnosis is the original cheap motor developed a short in the windings and therefore had to be replaced. This Vevor unit had very similar specs, so I bought it. Installation was a breeze as it swapped out without any additional parts or materials (except for the wiring to give it power). I should note that the original motor was a 110v version. I opted to change it to this 220v version because, although I could run either voltage, this is much better on my wiring running at ~7amps on average vs. 14-15amps @110v. I made a video to show my troubleshooting and upgrading to this unit if you are having problems with your lift power unit. https://youtu.be/C023IYbAyeQ

Car lift pump
Bought this pump for a 7K challenger lift. I was nervous because its not OEM but my budget was low. I was blown away with the quality. My lift was older. This was a big step up, and much more quiet. I was nervous if it could lift all my cars. All my car go up easy no strain at all. My last pump struggled with my wifes car. ONLY PROBLEM IS THE METRIC FITTINGS. Do not waste your time online. I drove to a local hydraulic store “plow dealer”. Bring the fitting that comes with the pump. All they did was sell me a different fitting with the same thread. “Told me its German”. And made me a hydraulic line to splice onto my lift. Cost me $98.00. But instal was easy maybe 15mins. No leaks and it looks great. My used lift cost me $700.00. A new OEM pump from Challenger was $800plus. I spent around $300 including the new line and I couldn’t be happier. I dont write reviews much but I was worried with this purchase. Wish i could have read a better review to settle my nerves at the time. So thats what I hope im doing now. 7k lift or Less its a great buy. I do not know if it’s capable to lift more.I’d buy this pump 10 times out of 10!!!
