I find this fine globe to be absolutely perfect! Beautiful colors with the interior light on or off - and as for the light, it's just as it should be - not overly bright. Places are to read. And the animals featured on the globe are just delightful, happy. It has a nice feel to it as well, most pleasant. I read that this globe is for ages 3 and up. Well. I'm over 50 and loving the globe! What a fine job these folks have done. I so recommend this magical globe.

This is probably one of the best purchases I have made in a long time. I wanted one that looked nice but that was functional and education as well. Many of the globes I looked at were just "pieces of furniture" or had so much writing on them that it was hard to find anything. This globe is just right in all aspects. It is very striking with its glossy finish and when you light it up at night it is just so cool showing all the constellations. I would highly recommend this globe. You will not be disappointed. It will make a great gift as well and plan to purchase some this coming Christmas season.

I like this globe a lot: the countries are well designated and the colors are bright. Yes, the base is very light, but if you want to spin it just hold the base down.

Very vivid colors and very easy to read. Great print on the globe. It can easily spin around and is not to overly large and not to tiny. Perfect size for a globe for homeschooling. If you are sitting on the fence whether to purchase this one, just do it you'll be glad you did.

WE like the product. Our 7 yr old is learning country names, capitals, and some geography using that. We spend some time everyday, quizzing her on places and capitals an she answers looking at the globe
