It's made of plastic. It feels cheaply made and that it might break. But it works really well. I like it. I don't use it too often so let's see how well it holds up over time.

I tried and tried to get a good seal but this just burns through my mushroom grain bags. The seal is very thin 1/16. It may be ok for regular vacuum seal bags but I’ll stick with my commercial vacuum sealer which does a much better seal and wider. I also should have bought a small one.

I just bought this item and I use it only one time and not work any more. I contacted with customer service no one reply to me even i wait more then 24 hours .

Seems good so far, dialing it in to whatever you're sealing is a little tricky. To long and you get holes, not long enough and no seal. Nice it comes with extra replacement whatchamacallits too.🤔🍻

Really, the only thing I don't like with this thing is that there's no power switch built-in disabling it altogether. I put it in a small space so it would trigger, right now I have switch where it's plugged in. I may modify it though. Works great and the plastic is sturdy enough for my use. If you use it a lot get the metal version. 12\" seems perfect for my general packing.

I use this mainly for sealing grain spawn bags in my mycology projects, and it works great for resealing potato chip bags too (because nothing says ‘science’ like fungus and fresh chips). That said, this thing is way bigger than it needs to be. Seriously, there’s so much empty space inside it could double as a tiny apartment in New York. Could the designers not have played a little Tetris with the component layout? If Steve Jobs were around, he’d probably dunk this thing in an aquarium just to prove there’s room for improvement.

This sealer has saved me money by reducing waste, allowing me to repackage and/or seal damaged product. It was a bit of a learning curve to find the right impulse temperature and press time, but once zeroed in it worked great.

Works fine especially for resealing generic plastic bags and it's not necessary to purchase pre-cut or continuous resealer plastic bags.

Love my Vevor. Have had two others that were plastic and they burned out. This one has lasted a long time and still shows no signs of wear and tear.
