When not in use, this sealer does not have a clamp to hold the handle down. Every other one I own has this feature. Picking it up you instinctively grab the handle and it of course flies open. Pay attention to temp control, it gets very hot and can easily burn through the bag you're looking to seal.

Works very well. I am very happy with this item. It does what it is supposed to do. It is nice that it is so big and can handle large size bags.

The price was amazing considering the pieces of junk dealers found on other sites. Read the booklet to get acquainted with what level to set it on to do the best sealing. Quick and easy. The only laughable thing was waiting for the red light to go on. You have to actually be sealing something for it to activate and when it goes off; you are done. I stupidly was waiting for the device to heat up and turn the red light on before using it. Plug it in; set the dial; grab the plastic and place it in the machine. When you close the machine- the red light turns on and hold it closed until it turns off. It’s that simple. You will like this device.
