Great for finding hot and cold leaks in house
Always wanted one of these and finally they got to a price point I could justify the purchase. I have used it to locate studs in the walls, location of a water leak in a ceiling, checked electrical connections in the house and RV.

Guys, it's a device that gives you Predator... I mean, it's an awesome little device.
Plus, I kind of accidentally discovered I can see where Every stud is in the walls.. That right there makes this tool worth every. There's a literally 0 guesswork in finding the studs now. How wonderful the world we occasionally find ourselves in...But no, this Thermal Cameraof does work really well. Vevor is solid brand. I've also used a handful of their Power tools, and I cannot say I don't really have any Complaints about their quality. In fact II wanted to get one of the little Mini tablesaws...

Great specs for the price
At this IR resolution, the equivalent FLIR device is $2k. The refresh rate is solid with only momentary pauses during high motion. For my home inspection and workshop use-case, it covers 100% of my needs. I used it for 30 minutes and battery bar hasn't dropped at all.

wow IR Resolution is outstanding
i use this for detecting short circuits and it is just amazing, can easily spot faulty SMD's and ICs great product i like how bulky and heavy duty it is.

Good value, small things preventing it from being perfect
Really wish there was a way to lock the scale so the colors were the same temp and also wish temps recorded in the video. Temp scale only shows up when pictures captured not when recording video.

Quality tool loaded with features
This thermal imaging camera is a rugged, high-quality tool with advanced features. I have owned other thermal cameras and have been disappointed. This one won't disappoint. It is well built, the materials feel rugged, and of good quality ABS plastic and rubber. The IR thermal imager is high resolution, coupled with a quality screen. It offers fast processing speed and reacts instantly to environmental changes. The menu has many options, including changing the color palette and recording video and thermal information in the included 64Gb memory card. It can display and record IR light, visible light, picture-in-picture, and fusion, where you record the thermal visuals blended on the video. This works better with minimal motion, given that the two sensors, IR and visible CCD, have different processing times. It offers a light for better video capture and to inspect dark areas, and it has a tripod mount screw at the bottom to capture long recordings. The processor automatically detects the maximum and minimum temperatures on the screen and tracks them for you. You can select two different temperature scales for better sensitivity, 20-150ºC or 100-550ºC. You can use it in Farenhide or Celsius. You can set high and low-temperature alerts and change measurement parameters like distance, temperature, and emissivity, to more accurately measure temperature on different surfaces. This device is an excellent tool for HVAC work or any other electro-mechanical inspection job where temperature plays a role.

Comparison with Hikmicro B10. Not as responsive but it records video
This is my 3rd thermal camera, 2nd handheld. Compared to the B10 this has fewer pixels but is slightly cheaper (when the B10 is not on sale like right now). It also records video which is something the B10 doesn't. The issue with the video is that it uses .h264 format which requires specialised codecs to view. I wish they'd stick to mpeg or avi.Apart from that everything else is better with the B10. The sensor is faster and doesn't switch between modes as often which means you get fewer freeze frames as you're using the camera. The Vevor doesn't come with a protective shutter like the Hikmicro does, that is a very important feature IMO if you're going to use this for work where it might get dropped. The B10 is also lighter, it boots up faster and has a better fusion integration (the equivalent of MSX on Flir's cameras).Compared to Flir's TG275 these are almost half the price and IMO a way better option for the budget conscientious buyer. If I had to choose I'd go with the B10 for its better user experience but if you need video recording capabilities the Vevor is your best bet.

Works out of the box.
The image I attached is 240x320 captured by the product. There are 3 crosshairs on the image: green, white and red. Green being the min reading, white is where you're aiming and red is the max reading.Single press on the trigger captures a still and a long press starts recording video.Startup on the device is slower than I expected. Not that long really but still about 30-40 seconds. So you'll have to have the device ready before your testing.A wired remote would've been great since this handle has a threaded mount but it designed for handheld use.Overall, exceeded my expectations.

Well made test instrument .
The thermal imaging camera does a really nice job at detecting and recording thermal variables on various media from bituminous concrete to wood. The instrument is very useful for observing/recording thermal images associated with air leaks, electrical charge, moisture, and other sources. By combing the infrared with the visual image you can assess the thermal observation with a recognisable object like a door or electrical fixture. It comes with a handy protective holster, removable micro chip, and usb charge cord. A must have tool for any home inspector/energy auditor.
