Was so cheap hard to go wrong
I got this as an open box for under a 100 absoult steal app can be a little fussy. Have had it not charge as full speed a few times but get a good fast charge 99% of the time.

Good EV charger
This is a good charger. It looks nice on the outside of the house. The instructions on how to set it up could be better. App control took a few days to figure out, but the RFID cards make sure you can use it regardless.

Amazing value! Highly recommended!
I purchased this charger at a ridiculously low price and I have to admit I was skeptical, but that immediately disappeared. The unit was easy to install, easy to sync with the app and wifi. Using it was a breeze and the charger is super fast. My Chevy Volt charges in record time and my friend's Mach E went from nearly 0 to 80% full in a little over 5 hours. I've has this charger for a few months now and it's working great with no problems at all. Highly recommended!

Working great one month in!
I have used this plugged into my dryer outlet with an adapter, and recently had it hardwired. Worked great both ways. The screen interface on the unit works fine, but I wish you could turn off the password completely. I like the options of RFID, password, and app configuration. I use the Smart Life app with other devices in my home, so I was glad to see it works with these chargers. The history doesn't always show up properly in the app, though, and there's no way to show charging cost figures. The gasket seal appears solid, though mine is inside my garage. The cable is hefty, thick gauge as needed for the rating up to 48 amps, even my electrician noted the cable quality. I checked myself and did find it on the ETL UL registry. I'm very happy with it, this is my fifth Vevor product, too!

This is a great charger for my 2023 Bolt! Easy to install with an existing 50AMP RV plug. I love the security with the RFID cards or app to charge.

Decently priced with display
The biggest shortcoming of this EVSE is lack of clarity of the documentation on how to setup the features such as wireless control via app, what certain features such as the countdown timer do and how to disable/enable the RFID feature. Strictly as a charging cable, it does the job and is adjustable up to 48 amps. The handle on mine sticks when trying to remove it from the socket but that may loosen up with time. I hope this also happens to the cable which is very stiff unlike my older EVSE. This may be due to the larger wire AWG needed to handle the maximum charge current. I've only installed and used it a couple of days so if anything significantly positive or negative turns up, I'll try to revise this.

Worried at first due to unknown brand, but for the price, I'm VERY happy!
After a little research I was able to confirm that this charger is actually ETL certified, which made me feel a lot better. Some other buyers also opened theirs to hard-wire (I plan to hardwire eventually as well) and confirmed that the components used seem to be as high quality as any other well-known EVSE brands (or better). I got the NEMA 6-50P simply because it was at an unbeatable price of $69, and wired it up this way initially, with plans to eventually directly hardwire outside. I used an IR camera to confirm that even in ambient 80℉ everything stayed nice and cool while charging at 32A. I included a photo of the charger charging at 46.9A (which you should NOT do unless hardwired) just to show that it works up to the claimed 48A. I plan to always run it at 32A anyway as I never need the added speed and would prefer the efficiency and cooler running at 32A. The app isn't the best, but gets the job done and works well enough. I had no issues pairing, and it definitely worked a lot better than some other no-name smart-device apps I've used. TL;DR Not a bad charger at all, and a real steal at

Cheap EV charger but it works just fine
I'm just adding this review to correct some of the comments made below. - It's true that the included instructions are a mess but you CAN disable the RFID card: By keeping the RFID card on the contact pad for >15 seconds (you will hear a constant biiiip) you can toggle on and off the requirement for the RFID card. - The charger works just fine. I have used it both plugged in and hard wired, with a 50A breaker. You can set the amps pulled using the app \"Smart Life\" (I have mine set at 40A). - I have it mounted on a wood post, outside, and I have never had a problem with strong rain or anything else. In my opinion, it's not better or worse than many other EV chargers on the market. at its current discounted price ($200) it's a steal --hence the 5 stars.
