My self
The drill is amazing, no problems, well made, easy to use. one small issue. The chuck adapter shipped is for a 3/8" chuck. machine comes with 1/2" chuck. other than small packing mistake, money well spent.

Shipping was slow, 2 WEEKS not 2 days
This mag drill worked better than expected, great value, good quality, very impressed. Would recommend to a friend.

Used it to drill over a hundred holes already, Magnet is very strong and the variable speed is good. When first received it came with the wrong adapter, I contacted customer service and they quickly sent the correct one. I am very happy with this Mag drill.

Mag drill worked great. At first a little apprehensive about buying a tool for project that was priced so low, but after watching a few youtube videos on the Vevor mag drill working well for my intended application - went ahead and purchased. Glad I did - the Vevor was less than renting a similar Milwaukee mag drill for one week and 6 times less than purchasing one.

Overall great for the price. Don’t like adjustability on the stroke of the drill. Have used it to drill 1 inch holes in 3/4 plate. Had no problems.

Purchased this item initially from VEVOR with pricing and the rapid delivery. The product…once received exceeded my expectations. The unit is very strong and very capable to accomplish all that I intended to use it for and much much more.

Con lowest speed doesn't maintain constant speed. 3 or higher does fine. Head needs a position hold of some sort as it goes down by gravity. Pro. Drills like crazy good magnetic hold and makes an enormous amount of chips. Be ready for that. Made a mount to attach on my drill press abd use it for larger holes. Definitely would purchase again.

I really didn't expect such a solid and well-built drill press. This things a beauty, much bigger and more substantial than I expected. Nicely packaged too.

If you drill steel in big items you need one of these
I have built stuff all my life, lived on several farms, do a lot of experimenting building all sorts of items. I just recently bought this drill because I am getting ready to put a roof over two shipping containers. I need to drill 80 holes in the sides of the containers - I think about 16 gauge or 1.5mm thick steel. The thought of holding an electric drill and drilling by hand, while on a ladder (⅜" or 10mm holes), got me thinking about how to do this easy. I remembered using a magnetic drill once when I was a teenager - and I started looking around.$1k for a nice Milwaukee, $850 for a Makita - this Vevor at $250 works well. I haven't drilled the containers yet, but I've used it on several other projects - drilling over dozen of ½" holes in ¼" steel, some thru 2 layers of ¼" at a time. I drilled one 2" diameter hole with a Milwaukee hole saw bit. It did a very good job on all of these. The drill works, but it has some issues that could be improved (Vevor design and manufacturing please take note). The speed control isn't very good - when drilling large diameter holes in steel (what else would you drill with a magnetic drill???) the drill needs to turn at a constant slow RPM. When at low settings (I think the drill is just marked in 0-1-2-3... actual RPM numbers would be very helpful here) the speed will vary considerably with load. This is an annoyance, and requires some adjusting the speed as you start drilling, but stabilizes once the hole is started. The other issue is - and it may be the model I chose - seems to be quite a few similar mag drills by Vevor - I chose the most powerful at 1550W. The drill came set up to drill with end mill holders - for machine shop type end mills. There is an regular adjustable (key) drill chuck that will take up to ¾" bits (I think), but when I put the adjustable chuck on, then my standard sized ½" bit was too long. To use the drill with the adjustable chuck, I had to disassemble the up/down track mechanism and reassemble upside down. But my drill wasn't really setup to do this, but I was able to make it work. The tracks have adjustable tension tracks maybe 6 or more locking set screws on the track - and brass I think which is good because it slides well) It does not crank up and down with equal resistance, even though I adjusted it several times - too loose and the drill falls down, too tight and it's a b**ch to raise). But it is very useable, just I think Vevor needs to keep working on improvements, which I think they will. I have bought several other items from Vevor and all have been nice tools or materials (I forgot what they are, and they didn't get listed on my account). I will continue to look first to Vevor when buying tools, as the prices are excellent and the quality had been pretty good for tools that aren't in a production line constant daily use type work. I think Vevor is trying hard to be a quality supplier. I wish them well, and hope that they are all happy and heal
