When I first tried to fill the tank, I had to do it extremely slowly because the filter wouldn't allow the gas to flow very fast. I couldn't get the filter out so I wasn't too happy with the tank. The next time I tried I don't know what I did different but the filter came right out. I have a large funnel with a filter built in, so now I can fill it very quickly, so I'm happy. The tank is quite sturdy and is the best price that I could find. Don't hesitate to buy this tank, just remember to take out the filter and use a large funnel with a built-in filter.

Well made and easy to carry. Built n fuel gauge, quick connect gas line and priming bubble round out the tank. 12 gallons is fine for a day on the water playing or fishing.

Sturdy construction should last many years and excellent design with handles cast into the tank for easy transport when full. Fuel gauge does not move from full to empty but it's not really necessary, that's why the 3 rating in quality. It appears to be a float gauge most probably succumbed to rough handling during shipping. If I thought it was necessary I could probably disassemble and repair but I need the tank now and don't wish to return and replace as Vevor most likely would if asked.

I am using this product out of the ordinary usage. I had to change out an old fuel tank on a generator and wanted more fuel capacity. I did not want to drill in a petcock into the bottom of the plastic tank for gravity feed for I setup a valve vacuum driven fuel pump. I prime the system with the fuel ball and then crank it up. It works fantastically.

6 day shipping is too slow. A little cheaper at walmart. I like the tank, but I will definetly consider ordering based on shipping time.

BOUGHT TWO OF THESE TANKS TO GO IN MY ALUMINUM BOAT. CAME IN QUICKLY AND USED ON A LONG TRIP. BESIDES HAVING TO CHANG OVER THE FITTING FOR MY FUEL LINES FROM MY OLD LINE THESE WORKED OUTSTANDING

The gas tank is well built as it should be. It fit perfectly on the back of our 16 foot pontoon. We had a smaller tank and wanted to go up to a fifteen gallon from a twelve gallon.
