Wanted the 10 inch but it was alaways out of stock. So bought the 12 inch slicer. This was the right decision. It is the perfect slicer. The extra blade width makes it easy to slice. Made jerky with it. Cut frozen meat like butter. Sliced fresh meats as well. You can cut it very thin. If you have the room would recommend the 12 just becuase you can get more done faster. Am putting mine on a cart so i can keep it off the counter.
