If you're considering this unit....pull the trigger!

Probably great for a startup set. Seems like would be good to have a separate mash tun and some other hardware

I started with your 9.6 still, moved to this one for more capacity, I continue to recommend your products to anyone getting started in this. my only negative feedback is you should go with larger thumpers and worms, they should be 1/3 the size of you pot, also need to offer spare parts like seals and fittings. other then that your product will produce great adult beverages

It's a cheap option for a beginner still. I use it for distilling water as a backup in case I can't get it at the store (which has been more and more often as Grandpa Potatus destroys the economy and tears up the supply chain). Not a bad option to start off with. I already upgraded several parts, not that you have to do so, it works just fine with the provided parts. I just wanted some different options not provided. In a pinch I can distill whatever I want, that's good, as spirits are highly tradable.

Straightforward assembly no real leaks that were not easily fixable seems to have included what was promisedHave only performed a vinegar / water cleansing run at this pointNeed to be careful how to balance the water flow through the coil pot to keep the levels correct but not a difficult problem to fix however you have to be careful to keep the input and output valves opened at the correct levels to keep the water levels consistent or you'll get overflows

Great still ...

It's a good still that gives you everything that you need. The main issue is that the silicone seals/washers/gaskets (whatever you want to call them) are not very durable. Be ready to buy extras and have them at hand. Highly recommend doing a test water run before doing anything else. Works well!
