The still kit is simple and easy to use. It provides a fun and low cost opportunity to learn about the art and science of distillation. The only real shortcoming is that the thermometer in the lid of the pot is not very helpful for managing the temperature of the mash in the pot. The stem should be long enough to reach down into the liquid. Overall, a great product.

The still works great except for 2 things. The copper pipe coming out of the top is just too small to distill at more than about 50 proof, everything needs a 2ed distilling. It's not enough space for the alcohol to separate from the water. A longer pipe is as close as the local Ace Hardware for less than 10 bucks though. The thermometer attached to the top of the kettle is too short, it does not give you an accurate reading, this is also rectified at beverageelements.com for about 10 bucks also. It works fine as it but it works 5x better with the 2 modifications: higher proof on the 1st try and a more accurate temp to control the steam. I would recommend it.

I purchased this still a few days ago. It arrived much faster than I expected. It was well packaged and did not have any dents or scratches. I used it initially to distill vinegar to clean it then pure water. It works just as designed and expected. I would definitely recommend both this product and this seller to anyone.Stephen Wyatt

I have bought this item. I have not used this yet but I am wondering how much can this distil in an hour? I have asked this before but the factory responded with the specifications of how much water it can hold and not how much water can produce.

Pretty happy with the kit. High quality parts are holding up well. Some pieces needed reworked to prevent vapor/liquid leaks (pre-assembled incorrectly). Overall very happy with the kit and it distilled just fine. Looking forward to using it for years to come. I would recommend this product..

Well no major complaints, condenser is too small, thumper is to small. Line arm is to small. But is a good value and working still. My advice to vevor. Sell parts , gaskets , o rings, different size pots separate, fittings,stuff for customizing there still. More people will buy your stuff if you sell parts to keep it going.

Everything works as it should made good quality but the only thing I don like is the Silicone washers I contacted them to get some replacements because they seem to only last two runs and I didn get any response

Good beginner still. Down sides are: Thumper pot is not usable due to missing inner tube. Only goid as a slobber pot. Difficult to control water flow for the cooling pot.

No support for thumper or worm
