Ordered the 9.6 gallon to replace my 3 gallon setup. Now I can run 6 gallons of mash in 1 run instead of 2 1/2. Shipping took 4 days (Awsome). Arrived today and I couldn't wait. Setup was easy,took around 20 min. Directions were ok, could have been better. I ran a test batch of Vinegar and water so I could clean the setup and test for leaks. Everything went great. No leaks whatsoever. I did notice the the thermometer might lean to the cool side about 5 degrees. Other than that. The setup is well made. No leaks and seems to be quality for the price.

This is not induction compatible as the seller says it is. It is NOT!!! Was going to return item even though it was not induction compatible and was also missing connection pieces, but we found some connectors at the Home depot that worked and it can be used on our grill. Seller was very aggressive that it was induction compatible, but I've had induction stoves in every house I've owned and know when some thing works with an induction stove, this did not. Seller wanted me to send back product at my expense, I said, NO. They didn't answer me for several days, then when I put in a refund claim thru Amazon, they responded immediately and ask that I with draw my complaint and then they would refund me. I said fine, but they still didn't send me a prepaid return label. So I waited on Amazon's response. I got the return go ahead from Amazon,but at this point we decided to just use it on our outdoor gas grill. If you use it on a NON induction stove it works just fine, I just don't trust the seller. At this point the seller got his money for it and I'm making use of it. I'll leave it at that.

Is good for beginners

inexpensive way to experiment with without prior experience it was a small scale device can be stored in a small space like a Russian doll I think you need to sell more add on items to increase useability

Very easy set up and easy to modify if you choose to. Very durable so far!

We have not used this yet. However, it was fairly easy to assemble. Parts/pieces are well made.

Works well overall but does take work.Originally bought the 9.6g that didn't come with the thumper or pump for $120+. Bought this one as it was only $100 and came with extra important parts to make the job easier.Down side was the main pot was SMALLER than the first pot I got even though both listed as 9.6g. I gave the smaller pot away.OTHER DOWN SIDE: The few parts that attach to the lid for the spout and thermometer are not stainless steel. So they rust which to me is a huge problem as some of this rust is under your lid inside your pot. Still trying to find stainless steel parts so I don't have to clean the shit out of it every time.But still all in all not a bad set up and works great. Ya just have to do a little tweaking here and there find out what works best for ya.

Great way to get started. Inexpensive and good quality for a first timer like me. Easy to set up. Found different recipes on line to try.
