Set this up and just ran some water through it. Pretty easy to run, decent quality. Few minor issues with getting the the pump set up so that water input and output match in the coil cooler bowl. At first it wanted to over fill (meaning the water coming in was more than the water going out. After about 20 minutes later I got the flows tomatch by adjust the valve of the water input. Other than that, got the heat up to 212 where the water would turn to vapor and soon enough water start dripping out of the coil. Worked great and will be using it to make up a batch of something a littlestronger than water. I’d buy it again. Good price.

For the price you can't beat it. I've already done five runs and it works well. The one drawback is the flex line & pressure fittings. Expect to plug some leaks during still runs. Also, the silicone seals provided have already started to show wear, but like I said, can't beat it for the price. This is a great introduction still to get started. I will be moving on to a larger and higher grade still very soon.

Fun and easy to use, great for experimenting fermentation and enjoying your results. Practice makes perfect!

Everything is fine worked peefect

Works great. Only concern I have is the connections through the lid of the thumper leak a bit but a little bit of oatmeal seals it up dandy.

The still kit is simple and easy to use. It provides a fun and low cost opportunity to learn about the art and science of distillation. The only real shortcoming is that the thermometer in the lid of the pot is not very helpful for managing the temperature of the mash in the pot. The stem should be long enough to reach down into the liquid. Overall, a great product.

The still works great except for 2 things. The copper pipe coming out of the top is just too small to distill at more than about 50 proof, everything needs a 2ed distilling. It's not enough space for the alcohol to separate from the water. A longer pipe is as close as the local Ace Hardware for less than 10 bucks though. The thermometer attached to the top of the kettle is too short, it does not give you an accurate reading, this is also rectified at beverageelements.com for about 10 bucks also. It works fine as it but it works 5x better with the 2 modifications: higher proof on the 1st try and a more accurate temp to control the steam. I would recommend it.

I purchased this still a few days ago. It arrived much faster than I expected. It was well packaged and did not have any dents or scratches. I used it initially to distill vinegar to clean it then pure water. It works just as designed and expected. I would definitely recommend both this product and this seller to anyone.Stephen Wyatt

I have bought this item. I have not used this yet but I am wondering how much can this distil in an hour? I have asked this before but the factory responded with the specifications of how much water it can hold and not how much water can produce.
