Works well. Nice set of features for the price. Well built. Instructions could be better but I was able to figure it out. Really nice unit for the price!

I have never used one of these biometric finger id thingys but I tried this one. And it really works like advertised. I use them everyday. its on my kitchen counter so whenever I go out I just put my finger on the reader and it pops open. My Glock 40cal and Ruger 380 fit with room for extra clips. I liked it so much I got another. I might even get another for my bedroom. Good buy...

I was not expecting a whole lot when I bought two of these biometric safes but the price made it worth the gamble. Our state passed a law that requires locking up firearms, so I found this safe at half the cost of others. It’s easy to setup and the sensor easily picks up my fingerprint. It can save multiple prints so my wife’s prints are saved too. There’s also a four digit code lock. This holds a full-size pistol including the IWB holster. This would not fit a larger holster like a paddle holster. I’m very impressed. The only thing I wish was different is if it included a strong magnet on the back as I decided to mount this vertically on my wall. I added a magnet so my pistol doesn’t fall out when I open the door, which has great pistons, by the way. We made sure our kids tried their finger prints and of course it didn’t accept theirs.

Overall I'm pleased with this purchase. I dinged it one star because it unlocks, but doesn't always open on the first try. It came without the keys but Vevor support resolved this pretty quickly by sending out a set of keys. It would be hard, not impossible, to open it without fingerprint, code or keys - it will keep the kids from opening it and that's what I wanted.

One was easy to mount on each side of our bed on the headboard. We have two pistols, so we purchased one for each pistol for both sides of our bed. Once mounted we removed the foam padding and modified them to fit the front sight and light attachment. The safe holds the pistol along with their red dot sights and lights with no problem. The biometric works perfectly on one of the safes. The other safe sometimes takes two or three attempts to get the fingerprint to work. I wish you could turn off the alert on the safe when it opens and when the biometric fails. You can set up to a six digit code to unlock. You only have four digits to choose from to make up the code though - 1,2,3 and 4. This safe is not to prevent theft of the pistol since it could be ripped off the headboard using a crowbar. It is for quick access in the case of someone breaking into the house when we are home. The guide says not to have a loaded pistol in them, but that is actually what it is designed for. Just a CYA for them. I gave it a 4 star because of the issue with the one biometric. I would recommend this safe for anyone wanting a locked pistol safe with easy quick access.
