They are lighter than you would expect. I needed to lift 7' long pallets of solar panels and had to fully distribute the load to avoid cracking the glass. These worked perfectly.What's really nice about these compared to other brands is you can put them on and take them off without removing your forks.They have a pin with 2 clips. When I pulled the forks out of the pallet on the ground I lost the ip and pin the first time. I am ordering a regular 6.5 hitch pin with a stronger clip to replace.These are just steel and painted to avoid rust. The paint is going to come off.One of the ends where you slide the pin in came bent from where the package had been dropped, easy to fix with a small sledge hammer.No big dealI got them direct from Vevor www site.
