I’ve been grooming for over 25 years and this is my first stainless tub. I was going to tackle assembly but I asked my brother in law for help and I’m glad I did. The tub itself is very easy to assemble but the plumbing aspect takes a bit of knowledge. I would recommend using actual plumbing tubing, not what is sent with the tub. Same with the sprayer. We installed a heavy duty sprayer, one that I already had been using, just needed an Attachment on the faucet. The stainless grate cover sits about 6” above the bottom of the tub on a ledge and covers end to end. I wasn’t sure how I would like this because you have to pick the grate up to clear the drain, but it’s been fine. I was also concerned about the size of the holes in the grate, I was worried about little dogs getting their nails stuck. To combat this I use a small rubber shower or tub liner. And even when the dogs are not on the mat they rarely get stuck. I’m only 5’4” so the tub was fairly high, so we made adjustments accordingly by taking the bottom part off the legs and using pads underneath to secure it from sliding and scraping the floor. The stairs are nice but to be honest I rarely use them since none of my pups are used to using them and it’s difficult to get a dog to go up into something that has a “wall” right there. The only real negative is the sliding door tends to come open when I’m working with certain dogs. It gets caught and pulled open by my smock or just me. It would be a nice feature if they added some sort of stopper or locking mechanism. I do like the door for getting big dogs in and out of the tub.I purchased this tub about 6 months before leaving this review.I’m really happy with this tub overall.
