I decided to buy a compactor for my DIY project as it gave me the convenience to work at my own pace rather than have to complete it all in the rental window! Great decision and I now have a ton more projects lined up where I can use it (so maybe not such a great decision!! LOL!)

Saved a lot of time and effort with this. Does a great job at compacting stone, gravel, dirt and asphalt

Works well. Worked for my crushed concrete driveway. Packed well. Only complaint was exhaust bolt rattled out from vibration. Check them every once in awhile to make sure they don’t loosen up. Contacted VEVOR and the set me two since I lost them in my driveway. Thank you guys great customer support

awesome highly recommend the surpass's my expectations for this price point. I mostly DIY this is perfect. not one issue I run this for hours a day.

Works as advertised. Box stores charge almost as much for a 3-day rental as I paid for the entire machine. Has a Honda clone type engine, so inevitably when I have a problem due to the poor gasoline here in Texas, I'll be able to get parts.

Got tired of renting one, did the math, same cost to buy it by the time I'm done with my project. It is way better then expected. And I'm doing more work correctly by stamping it all down now. So win win. Get one. You won't regret it

This compactor is a game changer. Small enough for me to lift into my truck solo and narrow enough to compact narrow wall footings. Engine is reliable and the plate hits hard! The price makes it a no brainer. Thanks all!

I have only used this compactor for about 7 hours so far. Everything is working great except the pull cord doesn’t always fully retract. It hangs up a bit and I have to play with it to get it to feed back on the spool.

Great tool for driveway/walkway gravel compaction. Built like a tank and starts with first or second pull every time. Great value for the money paid, highly recommended.

Machine starts first pull every time. I do have some oil dripping from the front but not from the engine.
