I rented one compactor almost the size of this one that I bought I paid $120 to rent one from Home Depot for one day so I told myself next time I’m just gonna buy one and that’s what I did. it works great for the job that I’ve done a small job. I’m thinking about buying the bigger one that they have. I would highly recommend this to anybody that does any type of patchwork or pavers stuff like that for the price you can’t beat it..

Great priduct for the price. So far it runs well and is fairly quiet compared to similar machines.

Bought this compactor to help tamp soil and sand in a round 16' area for installing an above ground pool. It cranked and worked very well, is much faster than manual tamping, and paid for itself (versus renting) in about 3 days. Not only that, I will be using it for other small projects like laying walkway pavers.

Pretty solid machine. Fired right up and runs great. Tamping is impressive. Only complaint is it seems there were a couple loose screws on the machine. Two of these backed out and the cage covering the muffler fell off. Not the end of the world.

Works like it should. Great value for the price. Added oil and it started right up. I don’t know how long it will last but I’ve had it a couple months and it still works good.

The Compaction Tamper arrived late. Shipping showed it left Ca. traveled to Tx. then back to Ca. finally arrived in Ar. after 10 days. Box was destroyed. Missing manual and handles. Support emailed Manual, and forwarded credit for handles. which I was able to create from an old lawn mower. Checked engine, works as required. Only issue is the manual did not say how much oil to fill tamper with. I am satisfied with product.

No problems assembling - started right up. You will need a funnel for the engine oil. First project was 4'x100' paver walkway. One of the handle's nuts came off after about 2 hours use - noticed and re-tightened++ no further problems with that. On second day of use had some issues with the throttle cable/carb sticking and not advancing to high idle. This is a very dusty/dirty work environment and some of this I guess should be expected. We had the unit running 4-5 different days on this project over 3 weeks and 2 tanks of gas - has consistently started right up and done a good job compacting our minus gravel layers. Happy with the purchase.

I purchased this to compact base layers for a 500 sq ft. paver patio. This machine worked great. Started easily every time. My project was spread out over several days so it saved me a lot of money over a rental. I would definitely recommend. It is not the heaviest compactor so I did 1 inch lifts instead of 2 inches which is typically recommended.

Easy to assemble. Fill with gas and follow instructions. The first pull starts! Advertising promotion work according to size and power.
