This is a must for you pool cover. No big mess removing the cover when you want to swim. It is also easy to manuver.

currently priced at 112USD for our 18foot reel, this is one of the better deals going with these features. Ours was easy to assemble, and holds as expected compared to other aluminum ones I've owned and used in the past. Happy with our order, and expect a similar lifespan as other costlier ones it's replaced.

Assembly was interesting but I pieced it together and adjusted it by getting in the pool and mounting it. With it mounted I screwed in all the required screws. It hasn't budged since even without the included loctite. Once I got the straps right on the solar cover, it reels up nice and .... Uneven.... But that doesn't matter to me. I like how the cover gathers squeezes water out and the last foot i am able to skim the debris. Highly recommend for solar cover reel. It definitely gets the job done and with only one person.

The roller arrived on time, and everything was in good condition. The instructions for assembly were a little vague, the sections of tubes fit together nicely, but the hardware, and screws could have been better quality, so that everything stayed together. I’m sure there are some tips and tricks, depending on the application, the dimensions of your pool and surrounding surfaces, but until you build one, you just don’t know. If I had to start over, or put another one together, I would make it a little bit wider than the actual solar blanket, at least 12 inches, that would make rolling and unrolling easier, and if you’re doing it in a strong wind, it wouldn’t bunch up too much. All things considered, I’m happy with it, and glad to finally have one.

This is a great reel that was easy to assemble and is very sturdy once completed. It is not difficult to adjust it to whatever length you need for your setup and once that's done it will hold that setting quite well; it can also be adjusted to another size down the road if needed.b it works well for a 14x28 solar cover on my pool and doesn't seem to tip over even without sandbags set up. I would say it is a good deal for the price.

I just received it on June 26,2024 it was ordered on June 13, 2024 said I will be delivered July 1,2024 after several calls to see why it would take so long to deliver, I was told it was out of stock but never received that information.. I talked to Amazon customer service got different answers... finally a team leader got me results and it was delivered next day. Unfortunately we haven't gotten to use the pool reel... So after we do I can give a better review... It looks durable, don't know about performance, question the value the installation hmmm instructions not clear and small print

This is built like a product that is meant to last. It was fairly easy to set up, even with the poor instructions. I have been impressed with Vevor in the past and this is no exception. They are a very cost efficient way to get things done. The wheels are metal and the reel itself is easy to use.

A combination of aluminum and stainless makes this a corrosion resistant, sturdy spool for a solar pool cover. The set comes with five aluminum sections comprising the spool. At furthest extension the sections will fit a cover of 18 1/2 feet width, at their most compressed 11 1/2 feet is the narrowest width possible using all five sections. After that you can remove sections to fit narrower widths. Wheel hubs are metal. Uprights and stands are stainless tubes. Sandbags you fill and clamps complete package. I agree with the reviewer who says that sandbags are an inelegant solution to holding the reel in place when rolling up and unrolling the pool cover. Some kind of weight that could be mounted to the stands and left in place would be much better. Otherwise, I like the build of this reel.

I got this to replace an aging pool reel that we have at our family pool. As you may know pool reels are a gamble. Most break within months and usually at the handle or straps. So far this one seems really durable. The metal wheels are nice and sturdy without adding too much weight. It fits our pool cover perfectly and seems like it will last for several years. It is hard to find a good quality reel nowadays but this one seems good. I will update this review if anything goes wrong with it prematurely but so far it seems really good and priced right.
