The motor is direct replacement for Century 1.5hp 56y frame used on Hayward pool pumps. Very easy bolt together project. A few reviewers complained about wiring connections but while rather tight it was easy enough by using spade connectors on my wiring. Some also complained the motor is noisy but I think those people are hearing more pump noise than motor noise. The sound from motor is normal electric motor hum, the bearing are relatively quiet. All said this motor is a good value

It makes a whining noise. Help desk is not very helpful. I think I have a lemon. If the company reaches out to me to make it right, I’ll update.

This motor is good but is louder than expected but other than that if noise won't bother then should be a good product

From the time i purchased this pool motor from you all it has been nothing but trouble and getting in touch with you all is the worse i've ever experienced. After reading the reviews i should have known this motor was not going to work, and most customers had to reach out to the BBB. REFUND ME!!

The motor came in quickly. Very good and quiet pump. It was easy to install. Perfect replacement motor for hayward super pump.

The only time spend on it is its marketing picture, which says the shaft including threaded portion was 47mm that is NOT the case. After contacted the technical support got a technical drawing to verify that the shaft excluding threaded portion is 47mm. The I ordered the product, it arrived as promised. Installation with a instruction booklet is very smooth, and runs fine for over a month.

I was skeptical because it is so cheap but seems to be good quality was easy to install.

Motor came in quickly. Packaged very well. Perfect replacement motor for hayward super pump. Swapped motor and replaced all seals and back up and and running. Took a total of less than an hour. This may actually be the quietest motor we have had so far. I would highly recommend this motor. As for longevity, time will tell....

The electrical connection sucks. Impossible to connect after motor is connected to pump. Not enough space to use quick connections.

The 3rd time I needed to replace the motor on my Hayward W36060 in 2 years I decided to try something else, I bumped up the power from a 3/4 HP to a 1 HP and tried this VEVOR motor. It was the best single decision I've made regarding my pool. I have timers set up for both the vacuum booster pump (this one) and my main pump. They are not as reliable as I would like and frequently the booster pump does not turn off. There have been days when I didn't notice this happen and this pump happily chooched along all night without the help of the main pump. It seems perfectly okay with it, in fact, it didn't even get hot. The century motors it replaced would have almost certainly broken...thus the need to replace it so often. The only downside to this motor is it's loud. Not crazy loud or anything but it's louder than my primary pool pump. But, it's been running now for 6 months and I've had zero issues. If you are looking to replace the garbage century motor on your Hayward W36060 booster pump I 100% recommend this.
