Basic, but completely functional
Fairly basic forge, since it only has a single burner and no doors, but you can better trap the heat with a couple more firebricks easily enough. Gets the metal hot, and allows you to bang on it with a hammer, exactly like it is supposed to do.

Small and portable
Insulation is loose, requires care when setting up and moving around.Tube is open on both sides, so theoretically two people could use it, one on each side.

I got this set for my newphew who makes really cool knives/daggers.He said it was a wonderful upgrade for the system he was using.He said it was quite easy to set up, seems very high quality - it heats up super fast. He feels it is great for beginners but also quite useful for the more experienced

Great little forge for beginners.
This product is great for beginners, easy (for me) to assemble. Very well packaged and worked the moment I put it together. It gets very hot and gets the metal yellow (3/4 inch bar stock). This is a good little forge and works well for me a thirteen y/o with no experience. 5 stars.
