Lots of fun. Controls are easy enough to pick up, five year old was driving these boats fairly well within a few minutes. Especially good in pools. Not great for lakes. Uses a small lithium battery that recharges using any USB 5-volt power source. Battery lasts for a long time on a single charge, more than an hour. These boats are not very fast, possibly a good thing when using in pools or other smaller bodies of water. In large open water, the slow motors feel like a bit of a let-down. Not easy to tip over, these do a good job maintaining stability even in slightly choppy water or on turns.
