Works as advertised. Unfortunately the color is orange and not red. I am disappointed as I ordered red to match my shop.

This reel will work great for my garage. It should reach all around it and even outside of my garage some.

Got this to put in garage for my wife ,she loves it.no more bound up cords when blowing leaves an debris around walkways and potting stand.been working great for about a year.

We added another cord real to the end of the shop and be unretractable. There's less tangling of cords on the floor less of a safety hazard, really enjoying the retractability of the cord. No more winding chords might be looking at purchasing 1 other 1 for original one that the retracting mechanism is broke.And we just have to wind it on a hook

Have not had this very long, although I am impressed with the build and what appears strong durability. Just have to see how long it lasts over time. I paid more for this compared to other brands. Hope the saying you only get what you pay for is true. The only negative I have and the reason for 4 stars and not 5, is the instructions. Parts given for installation versus the instructions not very clear. Shows diagrams for mounting, shows parts, but one set of parts, screws/bolts (can't) remember) have wall anchors with them. Standard wood screws that come with it have no anchors. So I was not sure which one I was suppose to use. I ended up going to YouTube to research. Vevor had no videos I could locate with a full explanation. Found a video from a private individual that thoroughly explained the unit and how to mount, and what the parts with it are used for. Found out that the parts with anchors is to be used if mounting into concrete or block. Once I found that out, the rest was easy. So for Vevor, make the instructions a little more detailed as to what is to be used for where. If Vevor thinks this is not true, then I must of gotten some printed instructions that were faulty.

Excellent heater for my garage. I have used it now a half a dozen times and works great. Have this heater mounted from my ceiling rafters in the garage and the vents pointed downward.

Powers my vacuum and other high power appliances great and wire dosent heat up. I like the red light for finding the sockets in the dark, and acts as a nightlight in my garage. Only compliant is the clutch on the winding mechanism is hard to engage sometimes

I'd been contemplating getting a retractable extension cord for the garage for some time. It arrived, but I didn't have time to mount it on my ceiling for a few weeks. When I finally did, I was impressed with the quality of the entire unit, including the mounting bracket. Retracts easily and you don't have to sit there and pull it several times to get it to retract. Since I put it up, I find myself using it multiple times each week. My garage is lacking in the area of others, not sure what the electrical code was in 1991 when my house was built, but this certainly helps in overcoming that when I need power for something and not close enough to a wall outlet.

Actually better than expected. Heavy duty construction

I have 3 of these and have been very happy with their performance, price and quality. Because I bought 3, there are detachable mounts and fixed mounts for each, I had fixed mounts 1 so I used the detachable mount for an area not used as much but I can move one there when utilizing that area more. It has been very helpful.
