I am using this in my garage.I like the length of the retractable power cord.I like that there's a light that glows inside to let you know there's power running through it.The case is solid, nothing feels cheap. This is good quality.There's mounting hardware included in case you want to mount it.Now I don't have to plug two extension cords together like I used to.I'm satisfied with this retractable extension cord reel.I hope this helps.

This is so much nicer than tripping over coils of heavy duty extension cords on the floor of our garage. It even has the option of permanently attaching to the wall. My husband is loving it. We need a heavy duty extension cord for mowing the lawn, power washing the cobblestones, for the table saw, and chop saw, etc., etc., etc. The extension reel let’s the cord out to any convenient length and when you are done, it retracts the cord. It’s easily portable to any job site. A must for the handy man or handy woman.

Best thing I have installed in my garage so far. Sturdy and does not bind up. Many reels leave little room so they bind up but this has enough clearance and fully retracts every time. Heavy gauge and seems like it will last me a lifetime.

OMGosh. Why did I wait so long to get one of these. It is SO convenient and reaches all corners of my garage, tried to center as much as possible. I've just had it a few weeks and can't believe how much I use it for power tools, vacuuming, etc. No more getting out the extension cords, unwinding, finding a place to plug in, having it all over the ground to trip over. BEST investment I've made. Just get it.

I have had the extension cord reel for several months now and I love it. I haven't had any issue with the rewind and I like that it is 12 gauge wire as opposed to many that are 14 gauge. Really convenient and helps keep cords off the floor. I installed mine on my garage ceiling.
