Reel is well made and retracts very well.

I got this for my generator for hurricane season but have also used it around my barn/workshop a few times. The fact that it rolls up is very useful and space saving, making it my now preferred go-to power cord instead of my old ones I have to manually wrap up. I like also that it is variable so I can leave the amount I need out only. The construction seems sturdy enough; time will tell if it lasts. If I break it I will update the review.

Installed in my garage for additional power options. Love the sturdiness of the unit and the cord retracts effortlessly. I attached to my ceiling and needed to use a scrap piece of 1x6 lumber first because the bracket the unit attaches to is too wide to attach to the 2x4 rafter. This is probably an unnecessary step if you discard the attachable bracket and mount the unit directly to the ceiling or wall with lag bolts. Overall, it’s a solid retractable cord reel.

This is built very sturdy and works very well. Placed it directly over my work bench and eliminated extension cords across the floor.

IMJOSHV, YouTuber, recommended this VEVOR Retractable Extension Cord Reel so I bought it and I’m very pleased so far. It was easy to install and I used it yesterday for the first time without any issues.

I had one of these before in my old house but this one is much beefier and much more heavy duty. Mounting was easy and it works nicely (the light showing power is not obnoxiously bright but still easy enough to see). The motion is smooth as well.Jut a note on install. When you mount the bracket, the reel will slide on but only from one side and then lock in place. Make sure you prepare for this. I rushed a bit and didn't realize this until I mounter the bracket too close to the garage door rail and I could not slide the reel on without loosening it. Please plan ahead. Once it was on it was a bit tough to tighten the bolts as the reel is rather thick and interferes with screwdrivers. This was my fault but make sur eyou plan ahead.

This just what I needed. I read multiple reviews for different products and compared. This one is longer and more heavy duty. Very satisfied!

Easy to install, built strong and sturdy. Would recommend to interested shoppers.
