Recoil mechanism (spring?) broke in 8 months. I kept the hose CLEAN when recoiling back in so it wasn't debris. The internal spring snapped it seems because I could manually pull it back (slowly). Took it down off the fence post I had it on, reached out to Customer service and we went back and forth checking ASIN# from Amazon and some troubleshooting. Guess what earned that 5 star rating? Good customer service. They offered to replace the whole thing and just send me another one. Unfortunately, all three variants of the product were sold out on their website. They offered anything else from their site and I opted for the large Hose cart. Going to take the hose, add some fittings at ends and use it with their mobile cart now =). Works out better for my use too. Thank you Vevor.

Works decent, I would probably only get the 50' if I were getting another... After a few uses the house doesn't return the last ten- fifteen feet with out help

Bought 2. Work great. Hard to pull out hose from reel. wish there was some tension adjustment. I suspect it will loosen up over time. would buy again.

Replaced both of my front and back water hoses with this. Such an excellent product for a great price. I had been considering an alternative which would’ve cost me $250 per unit. This is nearly identical for Almost 1/3 of the price. Very happy overall.

SOLVED A GREAT PROBLEM EASY TO INSTALL DO NOT CARE FOR THE PLASTIC NOZZLES REALLY NICE NOT TO HAVE TO WIND OR ROLL THE HOSE UP PROBLEM ADJUSTING THE PIG TAIL CONNECTOR TO THE HOSE BIB LENGTH NO PROBLEMS YET JUST TO ME EXPENSIVE--

Over the past few years I have purchased 5 of these hose retractors and all of them are still working just fine. I like the fact that the hose is 5/8" instead of the usual 1/2" size and that the installation process is relatively easy and straight forward. The price is right, the quality is very good and the shipping is free. What's not to like!

Bought two of these--one for the front yard and one for the back--in order to reach around the entire house. So clean looking (no bunched up hoses) and easy to use and then store. My wife and daughter also find them simple and convenient.
