This rock polisher works great for the money spent. It's very easy to use. I like the direct drive instead of the belt

i was really surprised at how quiet this tumbler was. i was expecting lots of noise from the tumbling rocks, but not bad at all. the tumbler worked fantastic! grandson & I did each step as per the instructions and the rocks turned out great. the kit only has enough grit for one tumbling, so if you want to tumble another batch of rocks, then you'll need to buy more grit.

This is an amazing machine. If you buy, only tumble one set of the rocks so you have a before and after and reference point for similar material. Also get some polycarbonate plastic pellets. They are very quiet and cheap and dont dent the softer material. They also weigh less so you can put in more material. Of course the ceramic is good for harder things but an agate or aquamarine they work great. Definitely read the manual thoroughly there are some great tips. I think i will buy another just to have more projects going.

The controls are easy to use. One of the things they should mention is that the timer is a count-down timer and will shut off at 0. The problem with setting the seal to prevent leaks is a matter of brute strength. Pressing the stiff rubber over the outside of the top disk is best done with a tool like the handle of a medium screwdriver.

Works great so far. I have only used it once. it worked without a problem. it did exactly what it was supposed to do. it was very easy to use.
