Worked perfect in my new Sauna
My sauna is 3' x 5' with 7' ceiling and this heats it up to 180F in about 15 minutes. The control makes a pretty noticeable clunk as it connects and disconnects current as directed by the thermostat but that is a lot of watts to be switching. Think the swing switch in Frankenstein :-) I added rocks I bought at Menards but you need to be careful. Some will shatter when heated. They sell the right rocks for saunas elsewhere, I was just being cheap

Great Sauna Heater
I used 9 AWG wire for hot and ground wires. I had a 40 amp circuit breaker but it kept popping so I went with a 60 AMP circuit breaker and it works great! Instructions are simple and easy.

Happy with our purchase, but only afer 8 month one heating element already defective.
We bought it in February 2024 and one heating element in 3 just burned. Use approximately 1x per week. Otherwise we were very happy so far with our purchase. UPDATE: We contacted VEVOR and they sent us a new heating element rapidly. All the service support were fantastic. Thanks again.

Works as advertised
My space is 6x4x8 high I purchased the 4.5 220v unit thinking it would heat up the space faster. 3 of 4 walls are insulated well and the 4th is an interior wall. It is hard wired so no plug needed, just a 10 gauge 3 wire did the trick. I used a 30amp breaker. In approximately 30 minutes it gets to 160f in a room that is about 75f normally. It quickly will reach 120f and is usable at that temp but I like to use the sauna for cold plunge/sauna intervals and that is when it reaches 160f. Normally it is there by the second or third round. I have had it about 3 weeks with no issues other than a rock cracking the first use, (my fault). I haven’t tried to sprinkle any water over the rocks yet (mostly granite I think). Good luck.

Inexpensive and powerful. If you want your sauna to heat up fast and have no issues-this is the one to get.

Best for price so far- it has been a month and 5 sessions
couple parts for hookup had to be replaced since we broke one and lost another, but super simple stuff. Once connected, the first heat/burn off was mildly odorous- better than expected. got up to 110C in 35 minutes. Perfect. Not as nice as our previous $1200 Finlandia that quit working after 5 years, but for the price of $150 I don't see us going back as long as it lasts a year or two.

Good value
Compared to other (Scandinavian) products, this was orders of magnitude cheaper and it works well. I sized the sauna to the specifications of the heater and it was able to warm up to around 200F. When heating it for the first time, it produced a lot more smoke than expected, triggering the smoke alarm. One downside was the timer which was similar to one on a toaster oven which ticked annoyingly and produced a loud “ding“ when it shut off. The timer controlled an internal relay which handled the high current to the heater. It was easy to wire an external timer and WiFi switch in parallel to the timer.

Good sauna heater.
If you are using 8 AWG 3 wire plus ground the neutral wire is not needed. That was not explained in the instructions. The 2 prong electrical connectors are about worthless. I didn't use them. Otherwise, I think this will be a good heater.

Works great
Works good so far, 220 is the way to go, heats up fast.. if anyone struggles... L1 and L2 those are two hot and very left is ground... usually green. I made my like extension cord that goes from my welder. In 10 min heat up to 170..i converted my costco infrared to 220 lol.
