Gets the job done!
So far so good I was able to use this product to unfreeze my water line in the basement. Worked as expected, easy to use, no hassle and Ive got no complaints.

Ever have a frozen pipe? Not my idea of fun either...
Got this for my downspout which freezes solid every year. Would also be great for pipes in my crawlspace. So much easier to just plug in on a cold night rather than go to bed worrying my water pipes will freeze again. Not the cheapest heat tape I've ever bought but seems well made so hopefully it won't short out like my last (cheaper quality) one did. Right when I needed it to work. Not exactly an exciting product but oh, are they ever handy!

Great for outdoor water connections
I got this self regulating heat tape to place on my outdoor water connection. I have a fairly long hose that connects to my motorhome from an outside water source. I love that is self-regulating meaning that it will adjust the temperature according to the outside temperature in order to keep the water flowing properly. This will work great in these below freezing temperatures that I'm experiencing now really a great item to have for rv, motorhome living. Comes with a very good instruction booklet detailing how to install and the temperature variations and how it works. Also comes with its own tape to attach to your pipe or hose.

Very industrial
Prior to this pipe wrap I was heating my well house with a space heater and a temperature switch meant for reptile cages. Very sketchy and not very reliable for something that has to work under all circumstances. Moving to the pipe wrap was great because it’s not affected by water build up and moisture. The temperature probe is built in and the whole thing is sealed. Also the end of the plug lights up so you know when it’s on.

Easy to use
With weather starting to dip to below freezing this arrived just in time to keep my outside pipe warm and flowing. This provided warmth as described and keeps the incoming water warmer than without it, especially when the weather is in the 30’s or below. I wish I would have gotten a bit longer than needed as it feels like it just isn’t quite long enough, and the heat part seems to be just under the stated length on the one I have. I made it work by splitting the difference at each end, relying on the heat to spread, but wish it would have covered a little more.

Perfect for preventing your sprinkler system from freezing in the winter
I ordered this pipe heating cable from Vevor to protect my sprinkler system in the winter. Most of the pipes for the system are far enough underground that I don't need to worry about them freezing in the winter, but the main pipes that connect the sprinkler system to my water supply (Where the shutoff valves are) are above the ground next to my house. So those exposed pipes need to be protected. In the past I have just wrapped them with a blanket and hoped for the best. But with this heating cable I can be sure they won't freeze. After I attach it to the pipes and plug it in, the thermostat will turn the heating unit on when the temperature drops below 43 degrees F and turn it back off when the temperature is above 55 degrees F. This is a great product with a variety of uses, and you can buy it in lengths from 6 feet to 120 feet.

Great way to preserve pipes!
Some people use a light bulb, some use heaters, but that can be dangerous in a crawl space. This heat cable is much safer and has a built-in temperature regulator. It's a nice thick cable that comes with an instruction booklet and even included a good size roll of tape!I've had smaller, thinner, flat cables in the past, but this is a round cable similar to a standard power cord. The quality of construction looks top notch and it works as it should, so I'm very pleased with this brand!

Easy to install - just wrap around your pipes and plug in.
We live in Texas where we do get some freezing weather but not an excessive amount. As a result, many of the homes here are not adequately built for freezing weather, our home included. We have some plumbing pipes in our attic, which was a dumb move by the builder of our home because that's one of the first areas to get below freezing on the very cold days and nights we do have. One of the attic pipes burst in a freeze two years ago and it was a huge mess and hassle. These pipe heating cables solve the issue and are such an easier and less expensive option than relocating plumbing pipes. All you have to do is wrap the cable around your pipes as shown in the seller's photo and plug it into an electrical outlet. There's a built-in thermostat in the cable so that it only turns on, and turns on automatically, when the temperature gets down to 43 degrees, well before the danger of a freeze. The warming feature only comes on when needed and stays on until it's no longer needed. The cable gently warms the pipes and keeps them warm so that the water inside does not freeze.I like how easy these VEVOR pipe heating cables are to install and that they come in a variety of lengths to suit just about everyone's needs. I'd recommend getting a cable that is about at least 1/3 or maybe even 1/2 longer than your pipe so you it will be long enough to generously wrap it around the pipe.We haven't had a deep freeze yet this year but certainly there are at least a few coming. It's a good feeling knowing that we are prepared and our pipes will not freeze and burst. If you have water pipes in out-buldings, sheds, the garage, attic, etc., take care of them now before it's too late. You'll be glad you did.

Seems to work well for freeze protection of faucet. I put it inside a plastic box and fit it over the faucet.
