I needed a pump to boost my newly installed 5-6 rotor sprinkler system for one zone only. Even at 65-70 psi from the Spigot using 3/4" pex 150ft tubing wasn't giving me the water pressure required to get a good spray because I discovered it's the gpm that matter more. I was only getting about 6gpm for a system of rotors that required a minimum of 8gpm total. So I did two things, swapped out the 3/4" pipes and replaced with 1" starting from the main to the Spigot and from the Spigot to the sprinklers. And I installed this automatic 1hp pump starting from the main inside my house. I primed the pump as required before starting by turning on the water supply to inlet without turning on the pump, just letting the water run thru it. Just to see how much psi I was getting without turning the motor on, I was getting a full 70-75 just from the increase in pipe diameter alone without turning the pump on and turning the sprinkler on. Soon as I turned the pump on, the psi reading shot up to 100psi but idled down to around 90-95psi. In full disclosure, I haven't tested how many gallons per minute yet I am getting now, but I can tell from the performance of the rotors spraying farther and more spread out that it has vastly improved my system. The pump turns off automatically soon as you turn off the timer or close the valve, turns on when uou open it. My only complaint to this unit is that the instructions manual to install is a joke. When yiu receive this unit, it comes with the main wire to power supply unattached to the automatic switch. Theres no clear instructions as to the order in which the 3 colored wires must be attached to the 3 empty ports its meant to go into. I wouldn't call it an instruction manual at all. Its atrocious. I tried calling vevor support to help me out, they were of no use either. So you're on your own as far as figuring it out. And the other issue I have too is that it leaks like a mother from inlet and outlet ports. I've used thick amounts of sealing tape to stop it but it still leaks. Next I'll try to add pipe dope in addition to the tape and see if that helps. I just hope that it does because if I tighten to the max, the inlets feel pretty thin and may crack as a result. Not confident it will withstand the pressure as this is probably the weakest part of the unit, I feel it may crack if i push it past its limit. But overall I am happy with the extra psi boost it has given me so far. It's a vast improvement for sure. As for how long this will last, only time can tell but for the price, which is pretty cheap, it's a good value and I'm happy with what I see so far. If anything does go wrong, vevor promises we have up to one year warranty to send it back for full refund or exchange if it's faulty. So let's see!

I have several shallow well pumps. Most go out of commission within 2 years. This Vevor pump is very quiet l. Very affordable. Price is right. So far so good. I've had it maybe 2 months. I would buy again.

My garden is 400 feet from the well and didn't have much pressure to water with. This pump made a lot of difference my oscillating water works much better. Easy to use I have a shop near by so electricity was not an issue.

Works great easy install been using for quite a while now no issues so far. Should have gotten this one the first time.

Has worked perfectly for over a year now, used to pump water for pulsating type sprinklers. Pumps water up ten feet then about 300 feet horizontaly to sprinklers. Never a problem.

Is working great so far and keeps up good with the sprinklers. Will update in the future to see how the longevity is. Like the stainless housing and hoping it will be better than cast and the fact that I don't need a pressure tank.
