This is for 16 gage and thicker to 1 1/2 mm. Tried to use it on duct work. Metal too thin. Failed to cut properly on 20 to 22 gage galvanized sheet metal. Metal gets pulled into nibbler and jams it.

Being a mentor on a local high school FRC robotics team we are always looking for a better and safer way to make the tasks easier for our students. The different gauges of material we most commonly use fall in the max limit of the nibbler. Being able to cut sheets of aluminum 1/8" (.125") thick is like cutting butter. This tool is a great addition to out toolbox. Thank you.

I never had used one of these before bit man does this thing chew through some steel. Ive used on 18g stainless with no issues.

This has been such a work saver. It has worked very well so far. It has saved so much time and effort over using snips to cut metal sheets. If you are cutting sheet metal, you shouldn't be without one.

works good but not a lot of excess power while nibbling 1/8". as long as the motor the motor holds up i think it will be a fine tool.

There are lots of nibblers out there for light gauge sheet metal commonly used in the HVAC and roofing industries, but very few that can chomp through 10 gauge steel like this one can. You can do some serious fabrication with this Vevor model for about 1/4th the price of other brands I've looked at. There are only two things I wish this had: A variable speed motor for precision work because this turns pretty fast at 1,000 strokes per minute. The second thing would be an interchangeable set of cutting teeth with a curved profile that would cut out crescent-shaped slugs instead of the rectangular ones that this one produces. Of course you can always use a die grinder or file if necessary to smooth out the edges if they're going to show. Neither of these suggested features would be worth paying four times as much as I paid for the Vevor though. This is an excellent price for a very useful tool.
