You can tile it or not, i did not. Make sure you install it so the water runs off. I wanted two onw way and a third the other way and theh were easy.

I thought it would have been nice if the lip that sits against the wall should have been flatter, or more shallow, to aid in sealing with silicone or adhesive.

I wasn't sure how I'd like the look of this in the newly tiled shower, but now that it is installed, I think it looks very nice. I use my stainless steel polish on it (same one I use for kitchen appliances). My contractor sealed the inner corner seams as a precaution. The stainless steel does show fingerprints and water sits in the lower shelf. My only complaint is Vevor put a sticker on the side that shows rather than the backside. So, I had to use rubbing alcohol to get the sticker off. No big deal, but annoyingly unnecessary. Put the sticker on the side that goes into the wall, please.

This was the perfect size for the space we had to work with. I had wanted a wider niche but due to the pipes we only had a small space to work with. It looks really fabulous in our newly remodeled bathroom.

This niche is great. Really heavy duty and holds a lot of products. It was easy to install and came with everything needed. Shipped in a very well protected box to keep it from being damaged. I would highly recommend it.

Easy to install came with the water proofing
