Fan is good quality, shutters work as expected, airflow is high. I'm using the 24" fan to provide ventilation for a shop that has a 5 HP chiller in it. Without ventilation, the chiller would overheat on warm days. The 24" fan is expelling the heat generated by the chiller sufficiently to keep the shop within about 5F of outside ambient. The fan is good quality. The only issue is the length of the pigtail. It is only about 10" long - less than the radius of the fan. So, it requires butt-splicing a cord to the short pigtail. If the pigtail was just a few inches longer, say 16" or more, then the cord could wire directly into a thermostatic controller (sold separately) or junction box, mounted on the wall next to the fan. The pigtail is sealed/molded to the motor housing - not easy to replace - thus resorting to a butt-splice to extend a few more inches to a junction box.
