Anvil
Works great could be harder the hardie hole is not cut very clean and I got one with a bunch of filler. The horn is a really weird shape but for the price can’t beat it

Works great for a good price
I've seen reviews of this complaining about casting errors, however mine came to me without any of those issues that I could find. It feels fairly high quality, especially for the price. It has good rebound, and after using it for a while, I haven't had any real issues with it. It's an amazing size and price for starting your blacksmithing journey. Its fairly loud, put some bathroom silicone under it before you secure it, that ringing drastically lowers.

It's just the right size for what I need.
I decided to try my hand at a little copper jewelry making and leather crafting and needed a hard surface for pounding rivets and bending metal. If price is no option, you might consider the 11 lb. anvil because I think it has maybe another half inch of width. Since it's just a hobby, I went cheap and wasn't disappointed. This 8.8 lb. anvil had just enough room on the surface to do what I need and has a conveniently small footprint.

Good quality
Haven’t used it much but seems like a good quality for home use

Good budget anvil
Solid, no major flaws. I had to spend a couple hours with a Dremel getting my Hardy tools to fit (the square hole) but better tight than loose! I also spent a few hours smoothing out the top, the surface has a surface grind, but the worst I have ever seen! Just rough, probably not an issue for most. It was flat, just rough. The hardness is good.

Respect it for what it is
I'm not a Blacksmith. I'm a DIY guy. It is Cast Steel, not Iron - a big plus This is the size I wanted, and the HRC hardness should be OK for most DIY tasks. For what my expected uses It's perfect. For use as a forging anvil / Blacksmithing anvil It won't last long. For my use, It'll last me the rest of my life, as long as I recognize it's limitations Quite happy with the purchase, and it was well protected from punching through the caedboard with wood inside the cardboard

Decent little anvil.
It's decent. I did get one with some filler in it. I can confirm this because I ground off all the paint and refinished it in black. There wasn't enough filler to cause any issue, or question it's physical integrity, but it is there. Found it up in the center bottom. I got it for $60 on a flash sale, so I'm not complaining, just honestly reviewing. Solid 4 stars. Good starter. Not disappointed.

Perfect for my hobby workshop.
Anvil is as described. Mounted, it works perfectly with you and gives good spring back to the hammer and is \"quiet\". Definitely worth the money...
