I ordered a total of three of these attic fans and two failed and leaked on customers ceiling. These were professionally installed and when contacted customer service, they asked for so many details that it was not worth the hassle. We removed them and went with better units from another company. I would never recommend these attic fans. Furthermore, dealing with their return policy is atrocious top say the least. Stay away from these products. $400 dollars down the drain.

Works as it should and good quality. Metal shroud and good instructions for mounting. I did not use the remote or 110v install but I might do it later.

Great product that I have used for a few years. My clients have been please with the lower profile look. It has cut cost down as well. We will continue to use this product and recommend this product.

Great quality solar fan, panel quick responsive to sunlight and the remote control is an extra bonus for the operation. My guess is if the solar panel ages in the long run, DC power will take on the energy for the remaining working life. Highly recommanded for any homeowner who want to regulate attic temperatures.

I have 2400 sqft attic and chose to install 3 of these fans. The fact that the bottom flange that attaches to the roof is separate from the body of the fan made for a much simpler installation including replacing the shingles. The attachment of the fan body to the bottom flange was also simple. We have just been through several days of 80-degree F pulse weather had the fans have been working well. The only issue I have had is that the manual does not address the use of the electrical connection or the functioning of the remote control. When using only the solar to run the fan it is straight forward. However, it is a little confusing when you have the fan connected to electrical power to understand how the controller interfaces with both the solar and the electrical power.

I got a recommendation about this product by my contractor. I ordered it and received it within two days. The contractor installed it the following day and it is amazing. It takes all the warm temp away from my house :) You can't tell the fan is working, it is quiet and good. Flies don't get in, since there's a screen. I'm happy :)

Was normal install. Had to add outlets for the adapters. Would like to see the lip on the base plate about 1/2 inch taller so the fan is easier to install on the base plate. Are quite, can hear them from the ground only when it is really calm. Not sure why you are not supposed to use the remote if the thermostat is hooked up.

I cannot yet comment on this purchase. I will be installed when roof is replaced on the manor in June, 2024 timeframe.
