I get endless compliments on these shelves. They are super sturdy and stylish.

I didn't want my microwave on the counter top so I added the shelf to the end of my kitchen island. I absolutely love the way it turned out.

The shelf seems sturdy enough and was packaged well for shipping, but the surface was scratched even under the plastic wrap. Love the silicon liner that was included too. The reason I returned it was because the shelf was a lot smaller than it looked in the pictures. The bottom shelf part is very skinny and thin, giving it a flimsy look on the wall. It looks like a sheet of stainless rather than a shelf. If you're looking for a small profile, you'll probably like it. I wanted something beefier next to my stainless stove vent .
