Absolutely fantastic for tree climbing.

I am really happy that the equipment strap and swivel were included since others had mentioned that these were missing. I got everything listed and it works great.

This got delivered to me today, and I promptly set out to use it. It worked as it should, and thankfully none of the bad reviews I read apply to the flip line I received. Mine does in fact have a swivel connector, it is 12ft (although I was hoping for 10'), and the carabiner worked in every position. 10/10 I'd buy again for sure.

It does the job that is all I have to say

This flip line easily meets the description and is a lifesaver. The rigidity of the line makes it much easier to use than the traditional strap and it is far stronger. No more fighting with my old strap getting caught in the bark of a tree and failing to flip up the way I want it to with this I am able to climb the tree much faster, with less effort and with the steel cable inside the line I am much less worried about accidentally catching my strap with the chainsaw. Also easily adjustable length while climbing. As the trunk gets smaller with just a light pull in the right direction and the flip line shortens up as much or little as necessary, and easy to loosen as well without worry about it going too far through the catch. I would recommend this item to anyone. ROC.

Ordered for me son who climbs trees for a tree & landscape company. He wanted steel core because it is safer than rope or leather for this type of work. This flip line met his initial safety testing and he is secure using it for work. The shipment arrived earlier than expected and was a fraction of similarly rated equipment from some of the forestry supply outfitters.

I have used several types and brands of flip lines and this has been one of the better, if not best that I've used. Normally I use a 5/8" but decided to get the 1/2". While there's not much of a difference in size, when it comes to using, I found this was a lot better for me. This flip line is very strong and is the perfect length for when I go climbing up the trees at my cabin and trim them. What I found helpful is that is very bright, even when there isn't much sun out or I'm in the shade, this flip line can be easily seen so I don't worry about accidentally cutting it. There is some rigidity to it which I found was really helpful when climbing some of my bigger or knotty tress. When I'm ready to get down, this releases easily and efficiently. For what I paid and for what I've experienced using this, you cannot beat the price. Has really held me up and while at first I was a little nervous when I first started climbing, I no longer have that issue anymore. Fully trust this flip line.

I really like the design. I do arborist work and this lanyard is easy to pull pul the back of trees. The rope lock works well in this confiruration as well. I feel confident climbing trees with this.

Very strong, can hold your weight while climbing a tree. Used this with a harness.
