So far so good, but I'm only getting 7 to 8 gallons a minute @ 160' of 3/4" (which is still a respectable amount)had I used 1-1/4" @150' the results may have improved. I'm only using it 3 times a week for 1/2 an hr to water trees and garden.Overall I'm very happy considering it cost only $89 and I got a two year warranty for $6.

Item is a described, just what i was looking for.

I ordered this pump to use not as well pump but for a sump pump in my basement. I live in an area that the water table can get high when it rains and being tired of most other pumps only making it just over a year past there warranty I figured I would give this a try. Can't beat the price since it is about the same as other sump pumps and its meant for continuous on off duty. I gave the pump 4 stars since the label doesn't state that it is oil filled and says that all components are stainless steel. Well the outlet for this pump was cast but that's not a problem. I used the original float off my old pump and since this one draws a few amps it works just fine. This pump can pump a lot of water and is very quiet so if I needed I would buy another.
